| Mark Kenoly was born the fifth son of a family of six boys in Coffeyeville, Kansas. He grew up in Oakland,
California and ended his early education with two years at San Francisco State University before being “bit” by the music bug. It was in 1974 that
he formed his first band with older brother Ron Kenoly [Integrity Music Worship Leader] in southern California. Living in the Hollywood area of Los Angeles, Mark began to refine his music skills as a songwriter,
musician, engineer, and producer, playing with the Bump City Band, and eventually signing with Whitfield Records and Norman Whitfield of Motown fame ( he wrote such hits as “I Heard It Through The Grapevine” ,”
Papa Was A Rolling Stone”, and “Car Wash”). Working with Norman for five years,
Mark reached the peak of his secular musical career with a Grammy nomination for an album he co-produced on Jr. Walker under the Whitfield label.
| Through a series of events ordained by God,
Mark surrendered his life to Jesus Christ. In 1988 he moved to San Jose, CA to take the position of Chief
Audio Engineer at Jubilee Christian Center. He is joyful to be a graduate of Sierra Pacific Bible
College and uses the knowledge of God’s word to pen inspired lyrics to bless the body of Christ.
After the Sudden Infant Death (SIDS) of a baby girl in 1990, Mark fought back against the forces of
darkness with the only weapon he knew how to use well - the power of the Word of God through anointed
music. His debut album, “We Pull Down Strongholds” was made for only one purpose - to destroy the works
of the devil and to build the Kingdom of God! Mark’s project, “I Rejoice” takes the listener to a new
dimension to bless the Father heart of God. All honor, glory, and power to our Lord Jesus Christ
forever! "FROM GLORY TO GLORY" is Mark's most ambitious solo project to date, but he is most excited
about his new recording project with KINGDOM VOICE. "God has orchestrated the most anointed group of
people I have ever had the pleasure of working with in KINGDOM VOICE. This band simply ignites in the
presence of the Holy Spirit, and can effectively transmit that energy to any listening congregation
every time we play. It is my joy to be a member of this powerful God-ordained band."
